| Besides the awards earned during a competition, the Southeast Area Twirlers Competition Soloists and Team Members have the chance to earn additional studio awards based upon their membership and participation during the competition year. These awards are presented at the Summer Awards Assembly. |
| The Southeast Area Twirlers compete in a variety of organizational contests including NBTA, TU, AAU, WTA, DMA, and USTA. Their primary competition organization is NBTA, however twirlers also have membership in AAU, TU, and USTA organizations. The instructors are very knowledgeable regarding the rules and requirements of various twirling organizations and seek to uphold the integrity for which the organizations are based. All twirlers have TWIRLING LOGS for each organization under which they compete. These logs allow them to keep track of their wins and level status for every event and every organization for which they compete. The twirlers are very pleased to be able to compete in all area competitions. The twirlers compete locally as well as on the state, regional, and national levels. Competition soloists and team members put in many hours of hard work in order to travel and compete in these contests. We are very proud of all of our competition students!! |
